Emotional Assessments:
Focusing primarily on self-esteem, confidence and functioning within the family unit, school environment and socially.
Educational Assessments:
Examining intellectual functioning (IQ), as well as skills such as reading accuracy, spelling, reading comprehension, written work and mathematics. A screening for learning disabilities, as well as the emotional components of learning, like achievement-motivation, confidence in scholastic aims and goals, as well as study habits and attitudes, are included. Specific focus is placed on whether remedial assistance, occupational therapy, speech therapy or other interventions are required to assist the learner in achieving their full potential.
Vocational Assessments:

Promotional/Change in Career Assessments:
An interview would reveal the adult’s needs in terms of job satisfaction and requirements in the workplace. Aptitude/Intellectual tests as well as Interest Inventories together with Personality Tests would assist the psychologist in guiding the adult/institution in making decisions regarding whether to accept the position or whether to hire the candidate.
