Completion and submission of Assignments semester wise Six Monthly- –You can submit as e mail attachments to the nominated tutor/ faculty.

• Read the whole assignment and try to identify what exactly being asked and in what way my tutor going to assess my performance.

• Reread the assignment and plan to tackle the most difficult or unappealing questions first. Once you have overcome this then moving forward becomes easy.

• You need not to complete the whole assignment in one sitting and it can be completed in convenient sittings for better result.. Underline the key words in the assignment to make your answer to the point and not going digressed.

• In most of the assignments you will find that you are required to write an essay on important topics of the module. It expresses and reflects comprehensive understandings of the writer. Though the theories, ideas and views you discuss, may be well known, but you write those in an individual and personal way.. Thereby you are not repeating the contents found in your study material or in the text books recommended for the course..

The IISP & SCG follows the “Credit System” for most of its programs as adopted by ODL institutes and universities in the country.. Each credit is equivalent to 30 hours of study, which comprises all learning activities (i.e. reading and comprehending the print material, listening to audio, watching video, attending counseling sessions, teleconference and writing assignment responses). A six-credit course, for instance, involves 180 study hours.

The course weight age is expressed in terms of credits. This helps the learner to understand the academic effort one has to put in, in order to

Successfully complete a course. Completion of an academic program (Degree, Diploma or Certificate) requires successful completion of assignments, term-end examination and other activities such as

practical, dissertation, etc. as per the requirement of respective program. This PG Diploma course is of 60 credits including practicum, and likewise BS c COUNSELLING PROGRAM WILL HAVE 60 CREDIT FOR EACH YEAR FOR HOME BASED STUDY AND COMPLETION OF ASSIGNMENTS.
